About the Role The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring our outbound and inbound shipments run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This position serves as the central connection point between production, sales representatives, freight brokers, installers, and customers to coordinate transportation operations with accuracy and exceptional service. What You’ll Do Freight & Transportation Coordination Coordinate all Truckload (TL) and LTL shipments including quoting, scheduling, and broker management Consolidate LTL shipments into cost-effective truckloads to maximize freight efficiency and profitability Ensure optimized loading to minimize freight damage and meet delivery timelines Prepare accurate shipping documents including Bills of Lading (BOL), Master Pack Lists, labels, and carrier documentation (TL, LTL, UPS, etc.) Provide daily shipment confirmations to sales representatives Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Production/Operations to confirm order readiness and identify shortages before shipment Communicate order status, ship dates, and delivery schedules to representatives Work with representatives to manage partial shipments and backorders Collaborate with the Distribution Center Manager to plan weekly and monthly transportation needs Work with Accounting to ensure freight costing accuracy and resolve discrepancies Systems & Process Management Perform end-of-day shipment processing and ensure ERP accuracy Review proposals and orders to create accurate freight estimates Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs Performing other duties as assigned What Success Looks Like Shipments leave on time and arrive as expected Freight costs are optimized and accurately calculated Documentation is precise and error-free Representatives and internal teams receive proactive communication Transportation operations run smoothly with minimal disruptions Qualifications that Move Us! Experience & Education High school diploma required (additional education preferred) 2+ years of logistics or distribution center experience Prior leadership experience is a plus Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered Skills & Abilities Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain, freight coordination, and warehouse operations Proficiency in ERP systems and shipping software Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently Excellent organizational and time-management skills Clear, professional communication Team-oriented mindset with cross-department collaboration skills Customer-focused approach Adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
