KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is prefered
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics roles
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management, 3PL operations, and supply planning
  • SAP experience essential
  • Advanced skills in Excel and strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Results-driven with strong self-motivation
  • Sound relationship and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR?

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouses in line with company policy
  • Ensure sufficient stock is held to meet all customer requirements
  • Drive 100% OTIF (on-time in-full) delivery target through strong order management
  • Process customer stock returns within 24 hours
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to address inventory queries and discrepancies
  • Support reporting and analytics to improve service, inventory integrity, and cost
  • Manage, complete and report on warehousing and transport controls
  • Conduct regular warehouse audits as per BAT’s stock management policy
  • Minimise unsaleable stock and coordinate timely re-export programs
  • Prioritise inbound containers and proactively manage out-of-stock (OOS) scenarios
  • Act as first point of contact for logistics queries from internal teams and customer service
