Description
Total Number of Openings 1 The role oversees all aspects of the company’s import and export operations, including initiating, coordinating, tracking, and executing shipments from the point of collection to final delivery. It requires obtaining permits and approvals from relevant Israeli governmental authorities, preparing annual reports for the Customs Authorities, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the position includes reviewing and approving freight forwarder invoices. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Export & Import Management: Handle all types of exports (rental & survey goods, goods sent for repair) and manage imports under customs supervision (incl. offshore). Complex Projects: Coordinate vessel importation, liaise with the Ministry of Transport, and provide weekly updates and solutions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs and Israel Governmental ministries requirement, including dual-use and radioactive equipment handling. Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain communication with Chevron stakeholders. Ability to handle multiple tasks within short timeframes, manage requests and coordinate with freight forwarding companies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Conduct price list reviews and negotiate shipping related quotes effectively. Job Requirements The position will require an individual with: Extensive knowledge and experience with Import/Export transportation/freight forwarding as well as in coping/dealing with the Israeli Import and Export Regulatory Regimes, including Israel Governmental agencies and other entities. Ability to work individually as well as in a team. 5 years or more of experience in Industrial/High Tech Companies with a preference to Oil and Gas Companies. BA degree or higher with a preference to Logistics/Business Management/Industrial Management Advantage – freight forwarder experience of 2 years at least Ability to perform tasks in a logistics IT system Extensive knowledge and experience with project related activities Extensive knowledge and experience in cross functional industries The position is located in Israel Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
