Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of managing freight shipments for a wide range of clients. You’ll coordinate transportation, provide solutions for complex shipping needs, and work closely with both clients and carriers. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coordinate freight shipments across North America and internationally, using various modes of transport
- Provide rate quotations, negotiate with carriers, and book transportation for clients
- Generate and manage shipment documentation such as work orders, invoices, and bills of lading
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery, updating clients on their shipment status
- Resolve issues such as missing documentation or lost freight, ensuring client satisfaction
- Interact with clients and vendors via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face meetings
- Audit and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy
- Support colleagues with operational tasks and provide guidance as needed
- Participate in ongoing professional development through courses, seminars, and webinars
