Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of transportation, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and route optimization to minimize delays and expenses.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors and suppliers, securing favorable terms and building strong, collaborative relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing storage costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or similar, are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site logistics activities and allocate manpower according to operational requirements.
• Coordinate the movement of construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Ensure materials and equipment are delivered to the required work fronts.
• Ensure materials are properly stacked, protected, identified, and stored in designated areas.
• Coordinate material movements between stores, laydown areas, work fronts.
• Minimise material damage, loss, wastage, and unnecessary handling.
• Coordinate with Storekeepers and Site Engineers regarding material requirements and availability.
• Coordinate with lifting teams and operators to ensure safe material movement and lifting activities.
• Maintain records of plant and manpower utilisation where required.
• Monitor manpower attendance and report shortages or operational requirements.
• Maintain discipline and effective teamwork within the logistics workforce.
• Coordinate the movement of delivery vehicles, construction vehicles within the site.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are directed to the appropriate unloading areas.
• Ensure all logistics activities are carried out in accordance with project HSE requirements.
• Enforce the use of appropriate PPE and safe working practices.
• Conduct regular inspections of logistics areas, storage zones, access routes, and work areas.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, drivers, site teams, and procurement personnel
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials arrive according to site requirements.
• Assist with resolving delivery delays, access restrictions, shortages, and other logistics issues.
• Coordinate subcontractor logistics activities and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in site logistics.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction logistics or site operations.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in building, high-rise, infrastructure, or major construction projects is an advantage.
• Previous experience supervising logistics teams, plant operators, drivers, and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, site logistics, material handling, and storage.
• Basic understanding of lifting operations and construction HSE requirements.
• Ability to read basic site layouts, logistics plans, and work instructions.
