LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry level Logistics Coordinator (IC1-G1) located in Philadelphia, PA.
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including order processing, shipment coordination, as well as managing inventory. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively without direct supervision. –This role is 100% in office located in Philadelphia, PA (Center City)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven work experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation modes, and shipping methods.
  • Proficient in using on-line applications (via PC and Mobile Applications) for preparing shipments with various carriers. Experience with Export documentation as well as AES filings is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities

AS A LOGISTIC COORDINATOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Coordinating with various teams and departments to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.
  • Processing internal customer orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Coordinating shipments with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transportation and on-time delivery.
  • Tracking shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identifying and resolve any issues or obstacles related to logistics services provided.
  • Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of logistics and shipping policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conducting regular audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Assuring quality of received hardware products and equipment, implementing policies of goods inspections on receipt and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to logistics and transportation, including shipping documents, customs documentation, invoices, and other relevant records.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements in logistics and supply chain management.
