OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and facilitating smooth transportation management. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, MRP, AS400, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of transportation management, freight operations, and 3PL services.
• Excellent negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and procurement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding equipment used in logistics operations.
• Experience with e-commerce logistics is desirable but not mandatory.

Work Location: Remot

• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving and inventory control.
• Analyze data related to supply chain performance using tools such as Tableau and SQL.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics operations.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for effective transportation planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within the supply chain and develop solutions.
• Support demand planning and production planning efforts to align inventory levels with business needs.
• Oversee materials handling, stocking, and order fulfillment processes within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and prepare reports for management review.
