We are establishing a container shipping line in the UAE operating our own container vessel on regional routes between the UAE, India and the GCC. We are seeking an experienced Container Shipping Operations Executive to coordinate container bookings operationally, cargo documentation, vessel loading and discharging, and port operations.

This is an office-based maritime shipping position. It is not a forklift, warehouse, cargo-handling or equipment-operation job.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export container shipments and maintain accurate container lists.
• Coordinate with vessel operations teams, port agents, terminals, depots and shipping customers.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo cut-off times, loading and discharge status.
• Prepare and verify shipping instructions, cargo manifests, Bills of Lading and related shipping documentation.
• Coordinate cargo declarations and customs/port documentation with the relevant agents.
• Coordinate container loading plans and Bay Plan information with vessel and terminal planners.
