The role at a glance

As a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) , you will manage the operational handling of national and international shipments, ensuring that our products arrive reliably, completely, and on time at our customers and partners. You will be the coordinating interface between the warehouse, freight forwarder, and internal departments, thus directly contributing to the quality and on-time delivery of our supply chain. With your focus on processes and your structured approach to work, you will help to continuously develop DENK PHARMA's logistical excellence.

Here's how you can contribute to our project:

• Order processing
  • Shipment management : I handle national and international orders and deliveries via truck, sea and air transport to ensure that our customers receive their goods on time and in full, and that the OTIF target rate of ≥ 95% is consistently met.
  • GDP compliance: Ensure that all transports comply with the applicable GDP guidelines, thus creating the basis for seamless quality assurance along the entire supply chain.
  • Document management: Create and check shipping and customs documents with the utmost care to minimize error rates and avoid delays and queries from freight forwarders and customs authorities from the outset.
• Complaints & Returns
  • Complaint handling: Record logistics-related complaints in a structured manner and forward them in a targeted way so that causes are quickly identified, escalations are avoided and the long-term satisfaction of our customers and sales partners is ensured.
  • Returns management : Coordinate the processing of returns smoothly and document them transparently, so that internal processes remain transparent and follow-up costs are reduced.
• Inventory & Archive Maintenance
  • Inventory control : Monitor and maintain stock levels regularly to identify bottlenecks early and ensure smooth order processing without backlogs in daily business.
  • Document archiving : Keep your document storage structured and up-to-date to ensure that relevant information is always audit-proof and quickly retrievable.
• Process optimization
  • Improvement initiative : Identify optimization potential in daily business – for example, through standard templates or checklists – and implement these independently, thereby reducing processing times and systematically reducing errors.
  • Interface coordination : Coordinate closely with warehouses, freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure that lead times from order receipt to dispatch are consistently adhered to and bottlenecks are resolved early.
• Project support
  • Project collaboration : Actively contribute your operational know-how to logistics-related projects to create practical solutions that are directly effective in day-to-day business.
  • Knowledge contribution : Proactively share insights gained from your daily work with the team, thereby creating a common learning basis for sustainable process improvements .

You should bring the following:

• Educational background: You have successfully completed a commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification – this forms the solid foundation for this role.
• Professional experience: You have already gained at least two years of practical experience in the commercial sector, ideally in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Customer focus: A strong service orientation is important to you.
• Working style: You maintain an overview even in a dynamic daily business environment, proceed in a structured manner and are meticulous.
• Personal strengths:  Reliability and teamwork skills are among your strengths.
• Language skills: You have fluent German skills and very good English skills, both spoken and written, as you regularly communicate with international partners and freight forwarders.
• AI mindset: You use digital tools and AI-supported applications with curiosity and openness to, for example, standardize shipping processes, optimize document templates or identify bottlenecks in the supply chain at an early stage – thus bringing fresh momentum to the continuous development of our logistics processes.
