Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Scheduler will be responsible for organising and coordinating all preventive maintenance, repair schedules, and service requests for the organisation’s facilities. The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will work closely with the facilities team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that maintenance work is carried out promptly and efficiently, minimising downtime and operational disruptions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, scheduling, or related field.
  • Experience using computerised systems is highly desirable.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of facilities systems (electrical, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule for all systems and equipment.
  • Schedule and track corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the facilities team.
  • Prioritise urgent maintenance requests and ensure prompt responses to facility-related issues.
