Description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee the efficient handling of daily inbound sea freight. This pivotal role will focus on meticulous documentation control and proactive coordination with shipping partners and service providers to ensure seamless goods flow into their operations
Office hours is 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch Break)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of shipment documentation with precision and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving and task prioritisation.

    Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Document Control & Accuracy: Receive and thoroughly inspect all inbound shipment documentation to verify pricing, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Customs & Shipping Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with shipping agents, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and release of shipments.
  • Invoice Verification: Accurately process and reconcile invoices against shipment records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Integration: Ensure prompt and accurate input of received goods into the inventory management system, authorising stock release upon system confirmation.
  • Record Management: Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date records of all shipments, inventory transactions, and associated documentation using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
  • Logistics Partner Coordination: Work closely with approved transport providers to schedule and manage deliveries across our four warehouse locations.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics service partners to identify and resolve delivery or inventory issues efficiently.
