ABOUT US:

We are a fast-growing chemical distribution company providing high-quality products and service to clients across North America. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping, inventory, and operations support on overseas shipments and shipments to and from our warehouse in Nisku. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with global logistics exposure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination
  • Knowledge of international shipping procedures, documentation, and customs compliance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage 50 is a strong asset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
  • Experience working with overseas teams or suppliers is an advantage
  • Ability to speak and write Mandarin is a strong asset
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-focused
  • Able to lift 50 lbs for warehouse work
Responsibilities
  • Track and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by ocean, rail, and truck
  • Liaise with freight brokers, customs agents, and trucking companies to schedule and monitor transportation
  • Collaborate with internal teams in China to align on shipment details, packaging requirements, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and update systems accordingly
  • Create BOL’s and COA’s from customers
  • Create TDG placards for shipments of goods as required.
  • Use forklift in warehouse to load trucks as required.
  • Prepare and ship product samples, including generating documentation and arranging couriers
  • Monitor delivery schedules and take proactive steps to resolve any shipping delays or issues
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, proper shipping documentation, and internal inventory controls
  • Create and manage purchase orders in Sage 50 accounting software
