We collaborate with major retailers across the US like JCPenny’s, Macy’s, and Famous Footwear to develop and distribute branded and private-label women’s and children’s footwear, specializing in comfortable, stylish, and quality footwear. We provide both premium footwear products and software solutions that enable us and other fashion companies to transform their operations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordination Specialist for a temporary assignment to manage and optimize our distribution operations. This role is perfect for a logistics professional with hands-on experience in coordinating shipments, managing warehouse operations, and working with international suppliers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience in container logistics, import operations, or customs coordination
  • Hands-on experience with container shipping, customs clearance, and warehouse coordination
  • Knowledge of duty calculations based on product materials and customs classifications
  • Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and trucking companies
  • Strong understanding of BOL processing, container tracking, and documentation flow
  • Proficiency with logistics management systems and container tracking platforms
  • Strong technical skills preferred: familiar with SQL and building SOPs and automating workflows
    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Container Operations: Coordinate container shipments from international suppliers to US warehouse, monitor arrivals, handle customs clearance, and schedule warehouse deliveries
  • Customs & Duty Management: Calculate duty fees based on product materials, process customs documentation, work with brokers for container clearance, and ensure import compliance
  • Warehouse Coordination: Pass container/BOL information to warehouse teams, coordinate receiving schedules, manage labeling/VAS requirements, and ensure freight readiness for pickup
  • Freight & Trucking: Arrange truck pickups, coordinate routing per customer accounts, handle scheduling changes, obtain signed BOLs, and manage daily load confirmations
  • Documentation & Compliance: Conduct weekly exfac reviews, maintain container movement records, process invoicing/pier fees, monitor empty returns, and ensure proper documentation flow
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve shipping delays, communicate with suppliers/forwarders, handle emergency rescheduling, and coordinate priority shipments
