Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Coordination

• Manage international shipments (sea and air) with freight forwarders and carriers
• Book shipments, schedule deliveries, and prepare all required shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork)
• Monitor container movements and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Track and report logistics performance metrics

2. Communication and Collaboration

• Act as the main point of contact for freight forwarders and carriers
• Provide clear updates on shipment status and transport issues to internal teams and custom
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

3. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Generate reports on shipment performance and cost efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions

4. Inventory Management

• Support stock accuracy through remote audits and cycle counts
• Assist with inventory control procedures as required

Person Specification:

• Background in freight forwarding or international logistics, with hands-on experience in sea freight and some air freight
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, transport flows, and international shipping processes
• Operational, hands-on mindset with ownership of shipments and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
