Description

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery. Plan transportation routes and optimize logistics flow to reduce cost and lead time. Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to stakeholders. Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers. Negotiate rates and monitor service levels with logistics partners. Allocate vehicles and manage fleet schedules for efficient dispatch. Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and permits. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international logistics regulations. Coordinate with customs agents to prevent shipment delays and penalties. Monitor warehouse readiness for incoming and outgoing shipments. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory handling and storage. Support material handling, skidding, and positioning activities at the facility. Identify bottlenecks in logistics processes and propose solutions. Implement best practices to improve shipment turnaround times and reduce errors. Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across teams. Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, inventory, and logistics transactions. Generate reports on logistics performance, delays, and exceptions. Support audits by providing required documentation and records. Act as primary point of contact for internal departments, suppliers, and customers. Address logistics-related queries and resolve issues promptly. Ensure high levels of service quality and on-time delivery. Track logistics KPIs such as delivery timeliness, transportation costs, and shipment accuracy. Provide regular updates to management on operational performance. Support scaling of logistics processes to align with business growth and new facilities. Identify potential risks in logistics operations and implement mitigation plans. Handle delays, discrepancies, or transportation challenges proactively. Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical shipments. Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
