Description
These are your tasks:Import processing: As a Logistics Coordinator Import (gn), you actively participate in the shipment of goods from abroad, taking into account national and international customs regulations.
Monitoring: In addition, you are responsible for monitoring relevant KPIs regarding the quality of performance of the shipping companies and service providers used, as well as for deriving appropriate measures.
Optimization: In addition to controlling and monitoring existing standards, processes and tools, you are responsible for their continuous improvement as well as the development of new processes.
Consulting: You will be available to our internal and external interfaces as a competent contact person to clarify open questions regarding customs and foreign trade law issues.
Projects and training: Last but not least, you will work on projects within import processing and support the training of employees in the areas of customs and foreign trade law as well as export control.
You bring the following:Qualifications: You have completed commercial training in the field of freight forwarding and logistics services and have at least 3 years of professional experience in import/export processing.
Expertise: You possess in-depth knowledge of national and international customs regulations and have already gained experience in the further development of customs and foreign trade law processes.
IT affinity: You are proficient in using MS Office, ASSIST 4 and SAP R/3 WMS.
Communication skills: Thanks to your ability to interact, a diplomatic, goal-oriented and assertive approach to dealing with freight forwarders and customs authorities is second nature to you.
