Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc., wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator (contract) to join our Lab Operations team in our Redwood City office. This person will be working with Assay Development, Drug Product, and Process Development departments. This role is responsible for leading external sample management in support of product and process characterization. This a contract position - 12 months. Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc., wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, is looking for a Sr. Scientist, Drug Product Development (Contract) to join our Assay Development Team. This position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite at our Redwood City office. \n What you'll do: Work with project leads in Assay Development, Drug Product, and Process Development departments to coordinate the shipment, receipt, registration, and inventory of samples coming from multiple external sites. Lead request for external samples to be shipped to our Redwood City site based on project sample plans and timelines. Lead receipt of external samples in coordination with project teams and Facilities. Lead troubleshooting and optimization of external sample receipt in partnership with project teams. Lead registration and inventory of received samples in our electronic laboratory notebook system. Contribute to quarterly inventory checks against electronic laboratory notebook inventory. Support communication of sample plans and project timelines with project teams. Perform routine lab maintenance. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. About you: Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field with 4-6 years (6+ years for a Senior Logistics Coordinator) of relevant experience in a biotech company or fast-paced academic research lab, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas and departments. Prior experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, lab management, procurement, or inventory management is strongly desired. Experience with Benchling is a plus. Must be a self-starter, proactive, cooperative, and proficient at working both independently and in a small team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office and other common office software. \n
Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator will manage the shipment, receipt, registration, and inventory of samples from external sites to support assay and process development. They will also perform routine laboratory maintenance and ensure accurate documentation within the electronic laboratory notebook system.
