Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient delivery of language services and adherence to company standards and policies. This role includes managing local teams, coordinating with international offices, and developing strategies to grow the organization’s presence and client base in the region. The Director will monitor quality, performance, and client satisfaction, while managing budgets, resources, and operational workflows. The position also involves building partnerships, representing the company with clients and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in processes and services.QualificationsLeadership and management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and strategic planning.
Operational and project management skills for coordinating multiple client engagements and internal processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, staff, and international partners.
Business development and relationship management skills to expand services and maintain long-term client partnerships.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Experience in language services, professional services, or a related field is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
Willingness to work on-site in Kampala and collaborate across time zones as needed.
