Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and drivers, ensuring that deliveries and collections are completed on time and to the highest standards. This role requires a keen problem-solver who can effectively manage logistics operations, communicate seamlessly with the team, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Provide customers with regular updates on the status of their shipments.
  • Address customer and driver queries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team to facilitate smooth transitions and effective handovers.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient delivery of services.
  • Accurately enter data into our internal systems and ensure all job bookings and communications are handled efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers, drivers, and hauliers via phone and email.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities within their organisations.
  • Actively seek out new business leads and develop relationships with potential clients.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and handle unforeseen circumstances with ease.
  • Manage multiple shipments simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and service levels are maintained.
