3PL – LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Lock Search Group has partnered with a high-growth third-party logistics (3PL) provider to identify a Logistics Coordinator to join their Surrey-based team. This role is centered on Carrier relationships (building, maintaining & creating) and negotiation. This is an office based position in Surrey.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage end-to-end freight operations by assessing shipment needs, securing appropriate transportation, and providing timely tariff and spot quotes. You’ll monitor market trends, support pricing teams with accurate data, and communicate impacts to both carriers and customers. The role involves building and maintaining strong carrier relationships, sourcing new provider partnerships, and negotiating competitive LTL and TL rates. You’ll also coordinate major projects from planning to execution, strategically selecting carriers to maximize efficiency, cost savings, and overall profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Experience in logistics, transportation (dispatch), or 3PL environment
• Strong background in freight pricing, spot quotes, and carrier negotiations
• Knowledge of LTL and FTL operations
• Proficiency with TMS software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
