Job Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Louis Dreyfus Company. This role is responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing transport logistics to ensure all contractual obligations and legislative requirements are met in the execution of physical contracts (both purchase and sale). The position covers a broad range of logistics functions, including (but not limited to) managing orders, accumulations, contracts, carriers, site planning, and collection of delivery reports and tickets. Working closely with the LDC Trading & Commercial teams, as well as key service providers, the successful candidate will play a vital role in identifying and securing the best commercial and service solutions for LDC and its customers. Key responsibilities will be but not limited to Adhere to Work Instructions when completing functions. Scheduling of Road services, which includes data entry of EPO for LDC sites serviced by Road. Scheduling of Rail services, which includes data entry of EPO for LDC sites serviced by Rail. Plan shipments based on availability and customer requests; checking and chasing Empty Releases with client/shipping line if/when required. Keeping packing schedule data as accurate as possible; Including Vessel details, Checking Pick Lists, following up customers for Import Permits, Weed Seed Certs & RFP’s, process bales picked and update okay to pack, sending final packing documents including Fume Certs, submitting PRA’s and ensuring AO’s are completing inspections in a timely manner and processing and sending Invoices to clients once received into Wharf. Monitor all LDC email inboxes for warehousing and packing services; Ensuring clients always have access and support for their most critical business information. Ensure timely turnaround of Customer data information flow from packing sites. External Warehouses: Ensuring LDC Warehousing Management System is updated with packing information supplied. Processing Supplier Invoices. Qualifications Experience: Warehouse operations. Supply Chain & Rail / Road Logistics. Cotton Industry (preferred). Department of Agriculture Experience (preferred). Other skills: The ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external parties in line with company requirements is required. Positive attitude. Diplomatic but assertive team player. Highly motivated. Self-starter. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and adapt in a continually changing operating environment. Problem solver. Proactively engage with feedback. Qualifications: Certificate III or Higher in Logistics preferred.
