Description:

To support the logistics and supply chain operations by assisting with booking of shipments, shipment tracking and general administrative duties. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in logistics and work within a dynamic environment.
Ability to perform light physical tasks, such as lifting small equipment packages.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Logistics
  • Courier and Freight Knowledge
  • Customs Knowledge
  • Languages - English and preferably German both spoken and written
  • Microsoft Excel is required specifically along with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of shipping documentation, including preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and generating waybills for movement of equipment from warehouses to various clients worldwide.
  • Track and update the status of shipments and communicate with internal staff and customers as needed.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team and colleagues to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Liaise with Service Providers and Freight Forwarders for rates, quotes, updates and queries.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal staff members, customers and service providers.
