JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Logistics Coordinator / Meeting Planner will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all logistics meet Government requirements, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to oversee multiple events from initial planning through on-site execution.
Location: Washington, D.C.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • Proven experience in event planning, logistics coordination, and vendor management for Government contracts.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, scheduling, and multi-tasking for multiple concurrent events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Government personnel, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Federal event requirements and procedures preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all logistics for meetings, conferences, workshops, and other events required by the contract.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all event-related planning, coordination, and execution activities.
  • Coordinate venue selection, vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, lodging, transportation, catering, and audiovisual needs.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and task lists for all assigned events.
  • Ensure events meet Government objectives, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting and last-minute adjustments.
