Roles & Responsibilities


We are looking for a proactive and organised Shipping Executive / Logistics Coordinator to manage the company’s international import operations and GCC export shipments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating shipments from international suppliers into the UAE and managing exports from the UAE to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, including shipping documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and delivery coordination.

  • Manage international imports from suppliers across Asia, Europe, China, India and other global markets.
  • Coordinate GCC exports from the UAE.
  • Manage shipments from booking and documentation through to customs clearance and final delivery.
  • Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, clearing agents and transport companies.
  • Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Entry, Certificates of Origin, shipping documents, Airway bills and other customs documentation.
  • Handle customs declarations through Dubai Trade / Mirsal II and relevant Free Zone portals.
  • Coordinate UAE Mainland and Free Zone import/export procedures.
  • Track shipments and proactively follow up on delays, customs issues and documentation discrepancies.
  • Coordinate GCC cross-border transportation and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import, export, customs and shipping documentation.
  • Obtain and compare freight quotations and support cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Coordinate courier and express shipments with DHL, FedEx, UPS and other providers.
  • Work closely with purchasing, sales, warehouse, finance and inventory teams.
  • Prepare shipment status and logistics reports for management.
  • Ensure all shipping activities comply with UAE, GCC and applicable international trade and customs requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce costs and minimise delays.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years’ experience in shipping, logistics, international imports and GCC exports.
  • Strong hands-on experience with international import shipments.
  • Experience managing UAE-to-GCC exports, particularly Saudi Arabia.
  • Good knowledge of UAE customs clearance and import/export procedures.
  • Experience with Dubai Trade / Mirsal II and Free Zone procedures.
  • Good understanding of GCC customs and cross-border documentation.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines and clearing agents.
  • Strong documentation, coordination and organisational skills.
  • Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines.
  • UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience exporting to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
  • Knowledge of Free Zone and Mainland customs procedures.
  • Experience with shipment tracking systems/techniques.
  • Good understanding of international shipping terms, including Incoterms.
