Role Overview

Logistics Coordinator will ensure timely and efficient movement of goods by tracking shipments, managing documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders. This role optimizes logistics operations, resolves delays, and enhances supply chain efficiency through proactive planning and data analysis. In addition, the Logistics Coordinator verifies that cargo is loaded in accordance with contracted specifications, grades, and other requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the tracking and monitoring of trucks, rail, and vessels to ensure timely deliveries and manage delays proactively.
2. Act as the primary liaison between freight forwarders and end buyers, resolving any operational gaps.
3. Collect, review, and prepare all necessary shipping documentation for import/export processes to ensure compliance.
4. Follow up on pending documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
5. Manage and coordinate the collection and verification of shipment-related documents in line with regulatory and client requirements.
6. Analyze and report operational data using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making.
7. Handle delay management by identifying issues early and implementing corrective measures.
