Title: Logistics Coordinator
Description: Logistics Coordinator is directly responsible for the coordination of the various aspects of the Live Hog Transportation as determined by the General Manager of Nursery/Finishing. Work to create a positive experience and awareness of the organization’s objectives, functions, and organizational alignment.
Hours: Onsite, Monday through Friday 7a-4p
Compensation: Salary, competitiveness based on experience, plus we offer an excellent benefits package

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Extensive knowledge of logistics or commercial swine production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and related software.
• Availability to be on call at all times (excluding vacation).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a positive manner.
• Must be self-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with limited daily direction.
• Strong interest in working with animals with a desire to learn and self-develop
• Strong interest in team building and staff development
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and hard-working

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, logistics, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of experience related to this position.
