JOB SUMMARY

Busy Milton Manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join thier dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring efficient operations from procurement to order fulfillment. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience with various logistics systems to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 2 Years of proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role within warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with freight operations, including shipping & receiving protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in data analysis skills to evaluate logistics performance metrics.
  • Experience using CMMS for maintenance management is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in manaaging purchasing processes and collaborate with suppliers for effective sourcing and procurement.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to oversee freight operations and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Analyze data related to supply chain performance, demand planning, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with transportation providers to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including AS400, for tracking inventory levels and order status.
  • Conduct regular inventory and audits of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement in materials management.
