Duties

• Manage and coordinate transportation schedules using advanced Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and materials handling to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline supply chain activities and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Conduct category management analysis to optimize product placement, stock levels, and supplier relationships for improved supply chain performance.
• Implement process improvement initiatives focused on reducing lead times, minimizing errors, and enhancing overall workflow.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols during materials handling activities.
• Analyze data related to shipping & receiving metrics to identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements.
