POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team! As a Logistics Coordinator, you be a point of contact for internal and external logistics-related stakeholders. You will monitor the inbound and outbound shipments and calendars. You will also respond to late and damaged shipments, and negotiate rates.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • 2 years of experience in logistics.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound calendars.
  • Experience negotiating rates.
  • Experience with harmonized system (HS) and tariff classification codes.

    Assets

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Experience working in a warehouse.

SKILLS

  • Willingness to learn.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing).
  • Basic proficiency in using computers.
  • Basic proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving.
  • Strong time management.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Strong external client service.
  • Strong internal client service.
  • Good influencing both colleagues and leadership.
  • Strong in working with people and relationship building.
