About the Role: Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products within a non-durable goods manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with production and distribution teams to meet delivery schedules. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations, preferably within manufacturing. * Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams and external partners. * Understanding of the supply chain process * Experience with ERP systems and transactions * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex issues * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other computer applications preferred * Excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills * Ability to work independently, efficiently, and proactively * Ability to complete short- and long-term projects, multitask, and prioritize Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in non-durable goods manufacturing or a related industry. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). * Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP). * Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and safety standards. * Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
