SCHEDULE: FULL-TIME, IN-OFFICE, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Brampton. This role involves comprehensive management of partner relationships, order management, and innovative solutions to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to manage logistics tasks effectively.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Fluent in English with excellent capability in writing and reading.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Logistics/Transportation industry within Canada/USA.
  • Strong knowledge of LTL and TL operations both within Canada and across the border.
  • Familiarity with Ocean and Air FCL and LCL shipments.
  • Expert geographical knowledge including mileage, transit times, and DOT regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Gmail.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and order entry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance relationships with transportation partners.
  • Ensure efficient sourcing of partner carriers and timely fulfillment of delivery requirements.
  • Track and trace orders, updating TMS, CSR, and customers accordingly.
  • Monitor on-time delivery appointments and coordinate communications with shippers and consignees.
  • Negotiate services and pricing, setting clear expectations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Build positive relationships with CSR, customers, and partners, managing interactions professionally across various communication platforms.
  • Innovatively address and fulfill customer demands.
  • Provide competitive rates to the sales team.
  • Prepare and review performance reports for carriers, leading monthly meetings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop procedures to mitigate issues and streamline operations.
  • Perform general clerical duties including answering calls, filing, data entry, and billing.
  • Engage in upselling and conduct inside sales calls.
  • Handle additional tasks and projects as necessary.
