We are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to help further support the sales function in terms of providing assistance in providing quotations, dealing with customer enquiries & other duties as reasonably requested.

What you’ll be doing :

• Schedule and monitor pickups and deliveries with hauliers and transport companies.
• Track shipments and resolve delays or issues
• Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments
• Provide updates on delivery status and resolve queries
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams
• Handle income phone calls
• Dealing with sales teams on a day to day basis in relation to their sales order

What you’ll need:

• 2 years previous experience in this type of role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel essential (Sage desirable)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferable)
• Knowledge of working in manufacturing environment (preferable)
• Experience working on sales quotations desirable
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service and good telephone manner
• Self motivated and can work with minimum supervision
