JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and managing transportation logistics. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to optimize processes and improve overall supply chain performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on warehouse distribution and materials management.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as AS400.
• Knowledge of freight operations, shipping regulations, and e-commerce logistics is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or similar software for effective decision-making.
• Experience with inventory control methods, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and category management.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding equipment used in logistics operations.

• Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Utilize data analysis skills to monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for process improvement.
• Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control and efficient materials handling.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Implement transportation management strategies to optimize freight costs and improve transportation planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis to address any logistical issues that arise during the supply chain process.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including data collection and reporting using SQL or Tableau.
• Support demand planning efforts by analyzing inventory levels and forecasting needs based on sales trends.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
