Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team in Rockhampton as the Logistics Coordinator. In this role you will be joining a hardworking, supportive, highly customer-focused team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the acting as the go between the office and the warehouse. This includes the day-to-day operations for our warehouse team, drivers, couriers and calling customers. All to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Your responsibilities include;

  • Coordination of the timely and efficient despatch and receipt of goods throughout the warehouse
  • Preparing and processing relevant documentation and maintains records
  • Assisting the sales team in providing updates for customers goods and providing guidance for outside the norm enquiries
  • Key liaison between operations & sales/branches teams on daily DIFOT performance
  • Assisting the warehouse team in picking and packing of goods from time-to-time
  • Assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy at the site

You will have a strong background in supply chain or operations including customer service, freight management, planning, distribution, etc. You will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of people to achieve cost effective outcomes. In order to succeed in this role, ideally you will have;

  • Great attention to detail, specifically in relation to accurate record keeping and document preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • SAP exposure, specifically in the front end.
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise effectively.
  • Knowledge of load restraint requirements and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus
