Our client, a leading distributor is currently recruiting a Logistics Customer Service Manager to work based in Dublin 8 and also Hybrid

b) Market Complexity: The role operates across various business areas Island of Ireland, customer service, and third-party logistics providers.

TOP 3-5 ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage daily logistics operations through third-party suppliers within designated financial criteria using focused KPIs and monthly stock takes in various depots located throughout Ireland.
  • Deliver supply chain strategies tailored for customers.
  • Act as a key liaison between customers, our clients’ businesses, and suppliers; develop strategies that enhance customer service.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Provide input on budgetary control aligned with strategic objectives; lead compliance initiatives supported by relevant managers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Professional qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline; degree-level education preferred alongside extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a logistics management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail supply operations including off-site storage protocols.
  • Proven track record in contract management along with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities demonstrated through successful change initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience managing warehouse operations alongside Service Level Agreements.
  • Familiarity with the drinks/FMCG industry is essential.
  • Experience interfacing at senior levels within demand/supply organizations.
  • Knowledgeable about budgetary controls/procedures along with market/product awareness.
  • Understanding customs requirements along with potential future changes is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with strong influencing abilities; adept at managing third-party suppliers effectively.
  • Highly organized individual who is customer-focused; aware of supply chain technologies/trends within FMCG sectors.
