Description
Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Provides complex-level logistics supporting high volume manufacturing operation. Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations; executing program strategies; or coordinating integration of small acquisitions. Manage day to day LMW Customs Liaison job including GPB application, follow up, Exemption and License renewal and maintenance. Ensures timely customs reports submission without fail. Enhance Existing Process on Customs and Trade Compliance and keep updated on latest Regulatory changes. Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process-oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposed solutions with limited guidance. Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost- management, cost saving initiatives & improve operation excellence. Provides independent, analytic, and strategic support to logistics operation. Manage 3rd Party Logistics including Insourced Operations, Logistics Service Providers, Chemical Suppliers, Hazardous Waste Supplier & mentors lower level contributors. Involvement in Data Analytics and Future Supply Chain transformation as part of Industry 4.0 vision. Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Complexity Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Typically, 3-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Operation's Logistics Customs and Trade Compliance. Vast knowledge in Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) & SST Act and regulations Well versed with Customs Monthly reporting for LMW, M1/M2 & M3/M4 reporting. Freight and Warehousing Knowledge will be an added advantage Able to multitasks and take pressure constructively. Willingness to travel & work with partners across 3 operation sites for ops alignment and drive operations improvement plan. Good knowledge of Freight Management, plus International Freight & Customs will be an added advantage. Strong communication skills (e.g. Customs Regulation Issues, negotiation skills and etc) Mastery in English and local language. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Adv Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Working experience with SAP system Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring. Exposure to Data Analytics and Reporting tools (Power BI, JMP and Etc) will be an added advantage. Fast Learner and good understanding of business needs and supports.
