JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level to Junior Logistics Engineer to support logistics and supply chain operations in our automotive manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist in designing, optimizing, and improving logistics processes to ensure the efficient flow of Raw materials, Work In Progress and finished goods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Internship or 0–2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain (automotive experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, and transportation operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), WMS software, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, analyzing, and optimizing supply chain and logistics processes for automotive parts.
  • Support the layout and design of material handling systems, packaging solutions, and warehouse storage methods.
  • Monitor and report on key logistics metrics such as inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, quality, and warehouse, to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Participate in logistics improvement projects, including lean initiatives and automation.
  • Help develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, work instructions, and logistics KPIs.
  • Provide support for system implementations (e.g., ERP/WMS) and troubleshooting logistics-related issues.
  • Analyze transportation and warehousing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
