Job Summary: The Logistics Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting our Operations Team during Sumer 2025. Reporting to the Industrial Engineer, the intern will work on a variety of hands-on projects designed to improve process efficiency, facility layout, safety and operational performance. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to engineering, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives in a real-world logistics environment. Key Responsibilities: * Project Management: Assist with project logistics site setup * Warehouse Optimization: Conduct time studies and spaghetti diagrams to analyze and improve movement flows * Workplace Design: Implement 5S principles and optimize workstation setups * Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Help draft and standardize SOP documentation * Capacity Planning: Build tools to analyze current utilization and forecast future needs * Safety & Ergonomics: Analyze tasks, environments, and incident data to drive safer operations Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with process mapping, time studies, and data analysis * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Arena or other simulation software is a plus * Self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills * Comfortable working in warehouse and office environments Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Products Work Schedule: * Days: Monday through Friday * Hours: Between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, not to exceed 29 hours per week All job offers are contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug screen.
