Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth We have 16 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics department based in Monmouth.

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate would have a transport background with knowledge of export processes and relevant paperwork.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, can prioritise tasks, have excellent communication both written and verbally, high levels of organisation and be computer literate with a good understanding of basic maths.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The purpose of this role is to perform administrative duties in the logistics department to aid all aspects of the delivery process of Mandarin Stone products.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the logistics and dispatch of Mandarin Stone products in conjunction with the Logistics Team Leaders.
  • To provide regular feedback to the Transport and Logistics Manager and Directors as required.
  • To work collaboratively with the logistics team Leader to ensure that all tasks are complete, and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain the day-to-day planning of 3rd party haulage requirements.
  • Responsible for the checking of relevant invoices and credit notes to ensure accuracy. To manage the 3rd party haulage claims in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Liaise with Showrooms to book deliveries onto Mandarin Stone vehicles. Ensuring that delivery runs are planned to maximise efficiency and are compliant with the legal requirement for driver hours / vehicle capacities.
  • Accurately producing the drivers daily running sheets with the relevant/Correct mapping and delivery notes when required.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming emails bother internal and external to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Prepare quotes & documentation for the export orders in conjunction with Senior Exports Co-Ordinator ensuring all paperwork is compliant & accurate.
  • Daily use of SAP/Word and Excel based programs.
