QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7 - 10 Years of HSSE, Project Transportation Management and or Security experience, with experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • 5+ Years Experience in logistics coordination/management of contractors, auditing/assurance, incident investigation, and managing worker wellness in remote locations.
  • Ability to prepare and implement traffic control plans and site security processes.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a professional demeanor even in critical and time sensitive situations.
  • A highly motivated team player who focuses on getting the job done with a high degree of accuracy and flexibility to meet operational demands.
  • A resourceful self-starter who quickly builds productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in using various data to identify trends or at-risk themes.

Responsibilities
  • HSSE Performance – Field Land Transport

Administer, advise and improve HSSE reporting and data collection for HSSE performance metrics specific to journey management, road hazards, driving conditions, unsafe acts/conditions, near misses or incident reporting.

  • General Logistic

Administer, advise and improve worker welfare through the development of a Well Being Procedure or Standing Instruction which ensures compliance to Exhibit V which outlines the requirements for worksite amenities including but not limited: to washrooms, eating areas, rest areas, shaded areas, temperature controlled rooms/equipment, washing facilities, areas for prayer and private/controlled sleeping quarters, washrooms, eating areas and prayer facilities for woman.

Administer, advise and implement the required Security Site Access Procedures to manage unwanted site access, site restrictions during related ERP incidents and the possibility of theft on PAD roadways/staging areas.

  • General HSSE – Investigations, Assurance and Competency Development Administer, advise and improve/support/lead:

    • Transportation or security investigations that occur on PAD owned roadways/site access points involving Staff or Contractors; this includes liaison/supporting road incidents which involve dangerous goods and/or required regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Assurance related to contractor or staff vehicles including but not limited to: Journey Management, Load Securement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Driver Competency, Hours of Service, Defensive Driving Programs/Training, Wide/Overhanging Loads, Pilot Vehicle Requirements and Subcontractors.
  • Competency/capability development standing instructions or PAD Procedures for staff and contractors including but not limited to roadway forums, PAD roadway inductions, rules/expectations for Camp/Site Access and related staff/contractor expectations.
