Description Location: 903 Walker Avenue, Memphis, TN 38106 (Corner of Walker and Neptune) Job Description: Full-Time position: Teaching general warehousing and distribution curriculum. Providing training and certification on hand pallet jack, standup reach lift, (Type II), electric pallet jack (Type III), and sit-down counterbalance (Type IV). Supervising warehousing activities in our culinary lab including receiving, sorting and stocking materials. This job will consist of joint lecture style classroom work and hands-on teaching methods. Other job duties include Supervision of trainees in setting up areas and general safety check of training center facility. The maintenance on our vehicles can and should be used as the training materials for the hands-on component of the classroom. Other duties as assigned. Training materials, equipment and tools will be provided by Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis. Students are ages 16 through 24. Requirements Experience in distribution center operations. Familiar with OSHA powered industrial truck certification. Must pass a background check and drug test.
