Description Logistics & Inventory Supervisor Job Summary The Logistics & Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient storage, distribution, and stock accuracy. This role supervises warehouse staff, manages inventory systems, and ensures timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Logistics Management Oversee inbound and outbound shipments. Oversee transportation scheduling and delivery timelines. Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations. Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and waste. Warehouse Operations Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Team Leadership Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety. Support continuous improvement initiatives. This role may require performing other duties as assigned by management. Experience 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management is desired. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Skills & Competencies Self-motivated leader who drives results with minimal supervision and takes ownership of operational outcomes. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Working Conditions Warehouse environment with physical activity (lifting, standing, walking). May require occasional overtime or weekend work.
