SUMMARY

Logistician 2 or 3 Labor Category: HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a lvl 3 Logistics Management Analyst to work within our Platform Integration group. An ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with proven experience managing complex logistical operations, including provisioning, analyzing datasets, and utilizing ERP systems, specifically with experience in NAVSEA/NAVSUP processes. In addition they must thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute innovative solutions to optimize our supply chain.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Self-starter
  • Journeyman level experience including ERP experience with inventory, material movement, DD1149s, and DD1348s
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Work will be 100% on-site
  • Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-savings within the supply chain.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Analyze datasets related to inventory, transportation, and delivery performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Conduct and participate in meetings with system Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), and Program Office.
  • Manage inventory levels and documentation of materials to ensure asset availability to meet implementation schedules.
  • Performer shall perform production control duties related to Installation and checkout (INCO) screening.
  • Performer shall collaborate with depot technicians and Supply Support cell to keep test line operational.
  • Performer shall maintain, track and store AN/SLQ-32(V)6 INCO inventory/records upon screening completion.
  • Utilize logistics software systems to cross-reference manufacturer’s part numbers to National Stock Numbers (NSNs), identify part requisitioning information and locate material identified on engineering drawings.
  • Identify vendors/distributors for material. Initiate purchase requests, continually track ordered material, and provide estimated delivery dates.
  • Gather, kit, and stage material for Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) functions.
  • Utilize ERP systems to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Performer shall create Material Movement Forms.
  • Performer shall create DD1149 shipping and receiving documents.
  • Performer shall create DD1348 turn in documents.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation.
