SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will execute the planning, implementation, and monitoring of logistical operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods, resources, and information. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting mission-critical operations, optimizing supply chains, and delivering exceptional results for our stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems. Develop, implement, and manage logistics plans to meet the operational and strategic needs of the organization. Analyze logistical requirements and forecast resource needs (e.g., personnel, equipment, materials). Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across various transportation modes, as required. Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in logistical operations and propose innovative solutions to optimize workflows. Implement and maintain best practices in logistics management, leveraging technology and data-driven methodologies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of six (6) years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably within the defense industry. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in logistics management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems). Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge: Understanding of DoD logistics policies, procedures, and regulations. Clearance: Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
