MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: Will become a strategic partner that strengthens customer relations and enables successful project completion You will network with offsite scanning vendors, onsite NPRC stakeholders, stakeholders from the Department of Veteran Affairs, and fellow GDIT co-workers working on the Conversion Services project to provide actionable insight that supports informed decision making and long-term strategic goals Will engage Facility Managers stationed at our various onsite/offsite scanning locations to ensure successful Logistics for the project are obtained Daily Logistics Manger responsibilities will require monitoring and review of all aspects of the logistics piece of the contract for Extraction, Re-Shelving, Shipping, Receiving, Reporting and ensuring Client/Customer expectations are achieved for Logistics You will use your Customer Service skills to engage with the customer on requirements/deliverables for the logistics piece of the contract, as well as engage with team members to ensure successful Logistics Goals are met. Problem Solving and Root Cause analysis skills and Logistics expertise will be engaged daily to facilitate resolution of data discrepancies for Logistics and ensure successful execution of Extraction, Re-shelving, Shipping and Receiving activities are on track for the project and project deliverables are obtained WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience Required Experience: 8+ years of related field/work experience in Logistics, Shipping and Receiving, Warehouse Management, Procurement, Business Management Required Technical Skills: Ability to navigate multiple Microsoft office applications, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning and Transportation Management Security Clearance Level: Current Security Clearance not required, but the ability to obtain a Public Trust/NACI clearance is a requirement for this position Required Skills and Abilities: Customer Service, Team Engagement, Inventory and Forecasting, Barcode & RFID systems and Data Analytical Skills Preferred Skills: Technology and Automation Skills, Compliance and Risk Management, Project and Process Management Location: 100% Remote, however must be able to travel 50% of the time to include travel to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Kentucky Work visa sponsorship will not be considered for this role GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
