Grundfos is seeking a Logistics Manager. As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the plant, logistics and material flow team, coordinating procurement, APU, warehouse logistics and other functions to optimize supply chain. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the escalation of bottlenecks and propose solutions. In addition, they will monitor department KPI’s and continuously drive improvement within the team and organization while developing and achieving targets associated with the GPS Supply chain process. This position reports directly to the Sr. Plant & AME Manager and will operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious working environment.
  • Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of supervisors/employees to ensure the department achieves its objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain COE team for process improvement through automation and digitalization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain optimum inventory levels, increase inventory turns, and reduce the past due backlog.
  • Deliver according to plan and targeted KPI’s.
  • Maintain the quality of the Supply Chain master data within the department.
  • Monitor Logistics activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely and that the warehouse space is used efficiently.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Supervise staff to ensure all logistics activities and all machines and equipment operate safely.
  • Comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Management system.
