Description
Jasara PMC is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Logistics Manager. This key role involves overseeing the logistics operations that support our mixed-use project in Makkah, KSA. Logistics Manager requires a strong understanding of logistics principles. transportation regulations, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and coordinating logistics activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. We are looking MAINLY with site Construction Logistics Manager (Management and planning for Site logistics: Traffic – Safety - Security – Laydowns – Materials receiving and shifting, etc..) in addition to a good background about Procurement/ Supply Chain Process/ shipping incoterms and warehousing management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies to facilitate timely delivery of resources for ongoing and upcoming projects. Coordinate activities across departments to streamline logistics processes and improve operational efficiency. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations. Monitor and track logistics performance metrics, addressing any areas of concern promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all logistics operations. Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 15 Years’ experience including 3 years experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience. Makkah experience is a must Proven experience in logistics coordination and operations. Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and inventory management techniques. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent certification. Experience with logistics software and technologies. Familiarity with customs procedures and international trade regulations.
