OVERVIEW

Mercia Garden Products Ltd are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our delivery operations.
This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of products whilst maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Managing Director, the ideal Candidate will bring strong leadership, organisational, and analytical skills to drive and ensure seamless logistics management and continuous improvement.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a Transport Manager or similar logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation, fleet management, and road safety.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification required.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with logistics/transport software and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical mind-set with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with sustainable logistics practices is a plus.
