Roles & Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in international freight forwarding (sea, air, and road).
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and customs clearance.
• Experience handling heavy-lift and oversized cargo.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020, Letters of Credit (LC), Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
• Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and EPC contractors.
• Ability to independently manage logistics from supplier dispatch to site delivery.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.

Current Market Knowledge (Must Have)

The candidate should be aware of:

• Current international shipping market trends.
• Container availability and freight rate fluctuations.
• Strait of Hormuz shipping risks and contingency planning.
• Middle East port operations and customs regulations.
• UAE import procedures and logistics compliance.
• Alternative shipping routes and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Geopolitical developments affecting international trade.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of experience in international logistics, EPC, renewable energy, power, oil & gas, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in utility-scale Solar PV projects preferred.
