Job Description: The Logistics Manager will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Director, Logistics Operations - APAC & MEAI. The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and co ordinating the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for large-scale project deliveries across India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and on-time transportation of materials from international suppliers through ports and warehouses to designated project sites. It requires strong expertise in project logistics, including both containerized and breakbulk shipments, along with effective coordination with freight forwarders, customs authorities, port operators, and cross-functional internal project teams. Here is a glimpse of what you will do: Lead logistics operations for projects across India, Middle East, Africa, and APAC, including imports, domestic transportation and site deliveries. Plan and execute containerized and breakbulk shipments for Solar Tracker Components (primarily steel structures, profiles, and tubes) from global suppliers to project locations. Manage international freight forwarding, customs clearance, port handling, and inland transportation activities. Maintain effective working relationships with ports (including Chennai and Mundra), customs authorities, shipping lines, and logistics service providers. Ensure full compliance with local customs regulations, trade laws, and internal trade compliance policies. Lead and manage a local logistics team of 4–5 members, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance oversight. Collaborate closely with Project Management, Procurement, Trade Compliance, Finance, and EHS teams to support project execution. Monitor logistics costs and drive cost optimization initiatives. Identify logistics risks impacting project timelines or budgets and implement mitigation plans. Drive continuous improvement in logistics execution, service levels, safety, and operational efficiency. Here is some of what you will need (required): Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in International Project logistics planning and execution. Strong hands-on experience in project logistics within solar energy, Oil & Gas, or industrial infrastructure/ EPC sectors. Proven expertise in containerized and breakbulk cargo handling. In-depth knowledge of import customs procedures, port operations, and domestic transportation (primarily trucking). Prior experience managing small to mid-sized logistics or operations teams. Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company with customers, authorities, and partners.
